This Saturday we continue with an intriguing study on Machiventa Melchizedek. Last week we began our study of Urantia Paper 94, The Melchizedek Teachings in the Orient. This week we continue Sections 3. Brahmanic Philosophy, 4.The Hindu Religion and if we're lucky and efficient, Section 5. The Struggle for Truth in China.

Melchizedek is counted in the Bible, Hebrews 7:3, as one, "Without father or mother or genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God, he remains a priest for all time." Melchizedek lived and taught on earth for 94 years. Urantia Papers 93-98 are devoted to Melchizedek with Papers 96 and 97 treating the Hebrew religion's evolution--the world religion most heavily influenced, at least initiated, by his teachings.

We're deeply engaged in a fascinating study of Melchizedek, the Third Epochal Revelation of God to our world. We've learned that Melchizedek came to earth on an emergency mission to rekindle the light of truth on Urantia. He thoroughly trained his messengers and dispatched them to the four corners of earth from Salem, now Jerusalem. These extraordinary papers examine how his teachings spread and recount the profound effect Melchizedek had on our world.

We will continue to follow this with a study of the "Salem" or "Melchizedek missionaries" and their work, from nearly 4,000 years ago, to prepare the way, not only for the Hebrew prophets, but also the teachers of the 6th century B.C., and ultimately the bestowal of Christ Michael, our own beloved Jesus of Nazareth, who himself was the Fourth Epochal Revelation to our troubled world.

Please join us again for this rich and enlightening study of the remarkable Machiventa Melchizedek and his amazing revelation of simple faith and trust in God.
