Happy Easter from the Cosmic Citizen crew!

This week we continue our study of Urantia Paper 2 - The Nature of God. We will reread and discuss Section 5: The Love of God. We feel this is auspicious because it's Easter weekend, and Saturday the 8th is the "time of the tomb."  As the revelation so aptly states, "It looked dark on that day of the crucifixion, but it was gloriously bright on the resurrection morning; it was still brighter and more joyous on the day of Pentecost."

This happens to be the first time in 73 years that the dates of the events of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection, as given in The Urantia Book, actually line up with Easter, as the world celebrates it. Along with reading Section 5. The Love of God, we'll lovingly remember of our Father/Brother/Friend....JESUS. We may even read Section 6 - The Goodness of God.

So far, in our study of Paper 2. The Nature of God, we have covered the following sections: 1.The Infinity of God, 2.The Father's Eternal Perfection, 3.Justice and Righteousness, and 4.The Divine Mercy. We have learned that humanity's understanding of God, and his nature, is handicapped because our minds are limited and that the best way to understand the nature of God is by knowing the life and teachings of Jesus.

As we go deeper we'll truly discover in full, the Goodness of God.

Consider: 2:6.6.The affectionate heavenly Father, whose spirit indwells his children on earth, is not a divided personality—one of justice and one of mercy—neither does it require a mediator to secure the Father's favor or forgiveness. Divine righteousness is not dominated by strict retributive justice; God as a father transcends God as a judge.

We hope you can join us this week for this Easter weekend study of GOD as presented in The Urantia Book!
