According to the American Cancer Society, more than 1.6 million new cancer cases were reported in 2015 alone; 600,000 ended in death. Furthermore, there were 231,840 new breast cancer cases with 40,290 predicted to succumb to the disease. African American women are most likely to die from the disease than any other group.
