Understanding Medicare and Health Insurance, and How They Affect Your Finances

When should a person begin to learn about Medicare?  Is it only a concern of those who will soon enroll or those already enrolled, or should others too be concerned about the costs and benefits of Medicare?  How does the rising cost of healthcare affect an individual's personal finances?  What's happening with the Affordable Care Act (known to some as Obamacare)?  We will answer these and many other questions about Medicare, health insurance, and healthcare on this week's program.

Our special guest is Medicare Insurance Expert, Author, and Speaker, Ms. Danielle Kunkle.  She is the co-founder of Boomer Benefits, an insurance agency that specializes in Medicare plans, and can explain the parts of Medicare in terms that are easy to understand.  Medicare is overwhelming for the thousands of Baby Boomers that age into this program across America every day. They are pummeled by mail solicitations, and they receive confusing government booklets full of indecipherable language. Most are so intimidated that they make poor coverage choices without fully understanding how their coverage will work.
