Join me with guest Paz Ellis talking about the importance of family and culture and of embracing one's roots. Paz has been writing since childhood. Her writing journey began with journaling, poetry, and short stories. Her first book,"Plantains and the Seven Plagues," was a product of grief. She wrote her memoir, several months after her mother passed away. She is currently re-publishing her 2nd novel, "Just Finn," which is a work of fiction, It's about a young man with Asperger syndrome, inspired by her brother who has Asperger's. The second part will be published this fall.
