Same Sex Marriage - A Grown Up Discussion

As of June 24, 2011 – it is legal for same sex couples to marry In New York State.  The responses afterwards have been both supporting and hyper-critical.

Are we missing the REAL message here? What does the passing of this law teaches us about our feelings and beliefs about rights, equality and relationships?
