Grave of the Vampire (1972) is one of my favorite underappreicated horror films of the 1970's. Written by David Chase (The Sopranos) it's a brutal piece of work belying it's PG rating. although relatively unknown, it has influenced Abel Ferrara and many other vampire films.
So please join me and special guest commentator Ryan Salter as we watch this great film, with an extraordinary performance by character actor Michael Pataki as the monstrous vampire.
