Tired of those Christmas specials you've seen over and over again? Well, let introduce you to three DVN and ISFhelp you out of your rut. Erid, Rachel and I will introduce you to three outlandish Christmas Specials that you've never seen before...
First up is AD/BC- a short rock opera with faux Elton John music. This is one of director Joe Badon's favorites- so blame him for it. Second up is a segment from the 80's PBS special Simple Gifts entitled No Room at the Inn- animated by R. O. Blechman.
And the jewel of tonight's TV Christmas Specials is Berk Breathed's "A Wish for Wings That Work"- starring Bloom County's Opus and Bill the Cat- with a cameo from a cross-dressing cockroach. No wonder this only aired once on network TV!
