Karl's Kavern- Memories of a Music Store

BP- (Before Podcasting)- I was involve in music retail for over 40 years. My family bought a music store in Bradford PA in 1972 when I was 14 and I worked there on and off from 1972-1997, with a hiatus in NYC, where I worked at Carl Fischer Music Publishing in the East Village.

Those were special times, with special customers who would just hang out and enjoy the company of a slightly demented store owner...from guitarists, public school teachers, church myusicians and many others, the life of a small town music store was special to not only me, but all my customers.
