John Killian has picked one of his favorite Black-themed films to watch tonight- Slam (1998). The winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, the film focuses on a talented youth (Sean Williams) who deals with crime in his neighborhood by competing in poetry slams.  Slam is available on Amazon for rental.
