Joshua is one of our more invisible characters- preferring to in the background of DLN. After much cajoling- he finally is ready to start a series of commentary watches of his favorite films. Westart this series with a commentary watch of Little Murders (1971).
Little Murders is based on a play by Jules Feiffer (Doonesbury). The movie focuses on Arthur (Elliott Gould)- an introverted schlub who photographs shit (literally!) and falls in love with Patsy- his exact opposite- while there's a rash of sniper killings in NYC.
Directed and co-starring Alan Arkin- the movie also stars Marcia Rodd, Vincent Gardenia and Donald Sutherland. Please join us for this wicked black comedy.
