It all comes from "The Mother"Africa" and Ms. Tracey has set the tone Fiercely

Hey there Tea Sippers!  Today I am going to open your eyes and perhaps your consciousness to a journey that some of our bruthas and sistahs are on that doesn't get its proper respect or just due. As a part of Black History/Herstory Month, we have to be ALL INCLUSIVE of the richness of what we have to offer the populace.

As we are embarking on the empowerment of the Transgender Community, there is a name that MUST be celebrated and recognized as a trailblaze, pioneer, and front line "warrior" for the equity building of the transgender community.  Before there was LaVerne Cox and Janet Mock......there was Tracey Africa!!!

Tracey Gayle Norman-Africa was once the FACE of Ms. Clairol and was the first Black Transwoman Supermodel to strut down the catwalk.  Now, after a flourishing career in the fashion industry, she is currently serving as The Mother of The House Africa and embarking on her own Home Decorating business.

Today, I celebrate the HURSTORY of this Icon so bring plenty of crumpets cuz THIS TEA is HOT
