J.W. Leggio Founder & Executive Producer Of "Briefcase Blues" out of Dallas Texas, recreating Jake and Elwood Blues, by performing in many parts of the country with his partner Lee Schwing and band--- will join my team and I inside the Red Carpet Room for this exclusive interview on his life, carrer, talents, and amazing achivements with Briefcase Blues. For those who are not familiar with the original Blues Brothers Band, well they are an American blues and soul revivalist band founded in 1978 by comedians Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi as part of a musical skecth on Saturday Night Live. Belushi and Aykroyd, repectively in character as lead vocalist "Jake Blues" which is J.W.Leggio's character, and harmonica player/ vocalist "Elwood Blues" which is Lee Schwing's character-- fronted the band, which is composed of well-known and respected musicians. The band made its debute as the musical guest on April 22, 1978, episode of Saturday Night Live. The band began to take on a life beyond the confines of the television sceen, releasing an album, Briefcase full of blues, in 1978, and then having a Hollywood film, The Blues Brothers, created around its characters in 1980. Now as a result of what this amazing band created in the 70s, it has brought J.W. Leggio, Lee Schwing and their awsome band, to perform all over. Briefcase Blues have included apperances with the music group War, The Young Rascals, Kool and the gang, Joe Walsh, Foghat, Spencer Davis, Jefferson starship, and comedians Dennis Miller, Cheech & Chong, and Sinbad. Please join us for an evening of music, fun and intresting conversations with J.W. Leggio of Briefcase Blues. Its all going down on blog talk radio. Call in number is 516-531-9334.
