Our show will honor two great icons both that have passed but both influenced the world.

We honor and credit the things the public shares as who we are in the now.

We must share credit with the past experiences of our lives and exposure to others that gives us, credit for today.  Maya Angelou was gratified, but not surprised by her extraordinary fortune.

"I'm not modest," she told The Associated Press in 2013. "I have no modesty. Modesty is a learned behavior. But I do pray for humility, because humility comes from the inside out."
