The Don S. McClure Show Live- The Beauty of Art Growing up in a world for the pursuit of happiness exposed to art by my father, while he worked for the second largest printing company in Chicago, this is where I found the beauty of art at an early age.
I learned the value of art in the world when it came to telling the stories of man and creation long before the written word.
Art would transcend to the highest level of communication and language.
Some of our knowledge would come from researched images from prehistoric rock paintings of Tassili N Ajjer, Algeria, Africa.
To the knowledge that hundreds of years before Europeans supposedly invented oil painting, ancient Buddhists were using a primitive form of the method to paint murals in the Bamiyan caves of Afghanistan.
The one special gift my father gave me was my exposure to art.
The various paintings that were printed inside this colossal building named I.S. Berlin printing company and the gift of the painting of the body of Adam from my father, started me on my artist appreciation journey.
