The Don S. McClure Show Live- Creative Discipline- Chasing your Addiction
Addiction does not always mean bad-or Poor or even Drugs. The word addiction comes from Latin "addico," which means, amongst other things, "to devote." So an addict is someone who is (excessively) devoted to something. And someone who will make this feeling a primary focus for satisfaction. You can become or gain an addiction to many things. Especially a purpose in your life, which is not all bad. I received an invitation today from one of the companies I do business with as a producer for the trailers for my books. And the question came up during an invitation to a meet and greet that I felt would fall up under the word "addiction" pertaining to my work habits. We here at Fiverr are always asking ourselves: what makes our community of doers do? We want to know what drives and inspires you; what makes you hustle hardest? What makes you wake up in the morning and keep on grinding? After reading the invitational words, I knew then that the word addiction could apply in a right way. But at the same time, this word had to be examined as to when where and what it applies. Dialog by Renowned American Author Don S. McClure
