The Don S. McClure Show Live - Going Back How Important & Why?

Topic: This one question has come up in my life for many years now.  I have been asked why I won't go back to a certain side of town in Chicago, to lecture and explain why I left and how my life has changed.  Yes as I said I have had this question posted to my request board as I am sure many people have who have changed or grown far beyond your past as a child, a teenager, or young adult.  Maybe the reasons are too hard to face, maybe there just is not a desire to revisit the past and maybe no-one bothered to ask you from that part of your life, because they had no idea some of the valuable accomplishments you have completed that would be a help to that old community.
Going back and sharing with the Black Community. Never apologize for wanting to help and show the world we are a great people with plenty of talent. Showing the world that we have not forgotten where we came from or why and how we made it out of turmerol for a better life. We can help other cultures understand us by showing more about who we are and what we believe in.  And when we do someone in our community as well as other communities and cultures will be helped by your story. No matter how you share it. By showing up to events for education, by writing a book, by producing a movie or a play, you owe it to them to show how it can be done.
Understanding we can make the odds to become in your favor, and understanding that you made the effort a little easier for someone else.
Especially someone from your own culture.
