The Don S. McClure Show Live: Show Topic: Indianapolis Has Fallen To The Eyes of Art. Undiscovered Territory: (A True Story.) Topic Discussion by Don S. McClure Renowned American Author They say you can admire someone's talent to a fault. I guess it can be true since I admire the work of Ken Burns. The days were long as I traveled from St Louis, Missouri to Chicago, Illinois never knowing I would find myself headed to a city I knew little about, except the fact that my youngest daughter was living there. But it would be an adventure that would help shape my level of understanding of the arts and my desire to capture all I could imagine about beauty and people through the eyes of my cell phone camera and my exploration of this city. Yes, my introduction to Indy would come from a short and thank God visit too the hospital from over exhaustion and dehydration from traveling from one city to the next in search of capturing the beauty and creating a better understanding of diversity between the races especially when it came to the African American community. Finding myself locked in a hospital bed by the demand of my doctors at Northwestern Memorial who felt it best, was not my idea of the beginning of an adventure. Much less the being taken there by the Chicago Police Department who also demanded that I see a doctor after witnessing my body throwing up every item of food I had eaten. But after a day of getting better and being released upon the question of where I would go after speaking with my older brother Roland after my traveling so much across the country to capture beauty in my eyes. I decided to visit my daughter in Indianapolis, where a true adventure began in art.
