The Don S. McClure Show Live - Celebration of Life & Happy Birthday to My Son

Topic: CELEBRATION OF LIFE—Honoring my Son’s Birthday Friday, June 8, 2018
As a man grows and continues on his journey in life, there will be special dates and moments celebrated as wonderful achievements. The month of June has provided many of these beautiful moments in my life. I was born at the end of this unique month on June 30, My youngest son's mother was born on June 17, and through our adventure, we gave birth to a son who was born on June 8, twenty-two years ago. And seven years ago on June 11, I had a desire to start my very own radio broadcast which I will be celebrating its continued growth. On June 1, I signed my lease for my studio project that contains over 1,100 square feet and will start operations on August 1, this year. I believe that when those moments come, and there will be many more of those. We should take a step back and say I am celebrating my life, my dreams my desires and my achievements, for during my journey I have been in many wars, and there have been many battles I did not win. Friends, I lost, family members that faded with time leaving a strong, lasting memory as a unique part of my life but I know they are watching me from above and cheering me on as I represent the best part of each of them and all that I learned. I have made some poor judgment calls during my adventures, and some regret. But during this time in my life, there is much to celebrate for my victories have been many, and my defeats are few. So I raise my flags above the masthead of my ships as I sail through life with my head held high, for I am the Captain of my Ship and I truly am the master of my faith.
Life has its challenges, and when you can celebrate your victories, you should take the time to do so.
