Question for the day: Stop and think for a minute, what is very important to you? It sounds like a trick question, but I assure you it is not.  Why because what is very important to you is different from what is important to you?  Take, for instance, you really need to complete a task, and you have some time to finish. So while you are working toward the deadline given by your mind.  You must make a connected decision to 

A. Continue to completion

B. Keep letting people interfere with small conversations, overriding your production and completion time.

C. You reach the completion date, and within two days, you scramble, and now you are not sure if you make the deadline, your work will represent your best effort. 

The question came when you first accepted the personal assignment.
Should you make an effort whatever it was, that could be vital for future engagements. Or you find that what you started on was not that vital. Or you included the fact that if it does not become a finished product. Or desire as your thoughts of completion levels for this whatever it is this event or project. It is not as vital to future relationships, business deals, or your friendships, or your reputation in life and in business.
So the question remains:  What Is Very Important To You?
