Travis Miller Sr., a Black appliance and furniture deliveryman, had just completed his eighth and last delivery of the day in a suburb north of Oklahoma City and was attempting to leave a gated community with a co-worker when a car blocked his path to the neighborhood’s only exit.

After the driver of the vehicle, a White man, refused to move, Mr. Miller took out his phone and started using Facebook Live to make sure he had evidence of his innocence for his employer. To add insult to injury, a second White man approached and used his car to further block Mr. Miller's delivery truck.

The entire ordeal lasted an excruciatingly long 37 minutes, and at the end, Mr. Miller's dignity was left in shambles. He stated that he felt the situation would have gone completely differently if he were White. And most people are surprisingly inclined to agree.
