40 Acres and A Mule -Then What?

This week, noted journalist and educator, Ta-Nehisi Coates, challenged Democratic presidential candidates on the issue of reparations to African-Americans for the tragic outcomes of slavery with his recent article for The Atlantic and asked Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders if he was in favor of reparations. The article and Bernie Sanders’ response has created a firestorm that Down South and Dirty will take a bit further.
