The 2nd Amendment by virtue of being in the Bill of Rights is one of the most debated amendments to the Constitution. This right along with the right to vote and the right to free speech is considered one of the cornerstones to the Idea of the American Republic. Like these other rights and many others, the full enfranchisement of these rights has alluded African Americans and is a source of much debate in the many political circles. In this episode we will discuss and explore the 2nd Amendment and what it means for African Americans and How the Political Parties will deal with a renewed call to bear arms by African Americans in light of the prevailing feeling that "Our" Government can't protect us or give equal protection under the law. Join us as we deal with a very important topic. Dexter Porter, a member of NAAGA (National African American Gun Association) will be our guest. Call-ins are welcome so call in at 563-999-3560.
