We Profit from the Word of God Through Obedience and Faith

Our spiritual wellbeing rests upon the bedrock of the Word of God.  Do you see today how easily people lie?  Do you see the disdain and contempt that people have for the truth?  Anyone who builds his or her life-narrative upon lies will not prosper in life.  Lies are self-defeating stories.  At some point the break down will happen to the ruin of the liar.  We are called to chose either a life of truth and beauty, or a life of misery and darkness.  We profit from the Word of God through obedience (faith).
