He (God) Restores My Soul

The psalmist knew that this life would seek to drain our souls of life.  The psalmist knew  that the only place to have respite from the evils of this life was only in God.  He told God what he faced in the world.  He told God about the problems of living in this world.  He told God that at times he felt empty, and directionless.  He told God that it was sometimes difficult to keep on keeping on by faith.  God told him that he would never leave him or forsake him while he fought the good fight of faith.  God came along side of the tired and faithful servant and blessed him with power to complete the journey.
