The Necessity of the Incarnation of Jesus the Logos (Word of God)

The Old Testament foretold the coming of the Son of God.  Indeed, the Old Testament literature is centered around the saving activity of God in Jesus.  His coming was first mentioned in the third chapter of the book of Genesis.  Where sin abounded Grace superabounded and some more on top of that is the incredible narrative of the Word of God.  Jesus is the Logos.  He is God's answer to the sin question and therefore the human condition.  Humanity is lost without God.  The Word was made flesh to give us eternal life.
