A weekly health care blog, tweet and medical information review and discussion with Dr Synonymous, aka A. Patrick Jonas, MD.  This session started with reading from and comments on patient blogs by Penelope (fighting depression with exercise), Medical Mojave (adrenal insufficiency and exercise) and Anaphylaxing (Mast Cell Disease).   Aaron Stupple's blog: Adjacent Possible Medicine, gives a medical student perspective of technology and the future of medical practice.

The Singing Pen of Doctor Jen blog reveals some of her singing and personal background in her post. Next Dr Jonas reviews Healthcare, etc by Dr Marya Zilberberg in which she discusses scientific discourse and labeling.

Tweet messages of those followed by Dr Jonas are then noted, including Ryan Madanick, Life Extension Foundation, other health professionals and Twitter experts.  Dr Jonas reviews an article in The American Family Physician  about osteoarthritis adding comments from some of his experiences.

Lastly, Dr Jonas reviews his last two posts on Dr Synonymous including his comments about the post reviewing the first season of "Marcus Welby, MD: Caring, Angry and Committed."

He closes the Dr Synonymous Show celebrating the content of his previous post about a miracle in Dayton, Ohio-A formal record of  informed consent in an ER when proposing a CT scan for a patient.  Another first  and hopefully not the last CT informed consent revealing benefits and harms to the patient to let them give or withhold consent for the test.
