On Tuesday, February 1st at 2pm EST, Susan Baida, Co-Founder of eCareDiary will interview Cindy Laverty, Founder of The Care Company, a Southern California-based caregiver support agency.

Following years of caring for her dying former father-in-law when his own children were unable while simultaneously raising her own child, Cindy Laverty discovered her true calling was in the field of compassionate home care and founded The Care Company.

The Care Company is not comprised of medical personnel, but rather “life managers”, experienced in working with caregivers and their families to provide services such as nutrition and exercise recommendations, medical coordination, caregiver screening, household management, financial assistance and much more.

Due to Laverty’s experience, she is able to answer many of the questions that routinely confuse and frustrate caregivers and their loved ones alike and provide all of the services and compassion needed to assist families and aiding seniors in maintaining their independence and dignity while enabling them to continue living in their own homes. Her purpose is to make the caregiving process less stressful for everyone involved.

Years later, Cindy began first and only commercial radio program devoted to caring for the caregiver. The Cindy Laverty Show on KZSB AM 1290 in Santa Barbara provides today’s caregivers advice, fellowship, comfort, education, respite and more on a variety of issues related to caregiving.

Susan Baida and John Mills invite their listeners to visit their website, http://www.eCareDiary.com/ - a central, no-cost portal for all things aging. Visit the blog, products page, legal docs, etc. at the eCareDiary website http://www.eCareDiary.com/
