On Tuesday, February 15th at 2pm EST, Susan Baida, Co-Founder of eCareDiary will interview Benita Cooper, creator of The Best Day of My Life (So Far). On June 26, 2006, Benita Cooper – a twenty-six-year-old Harvard-educated Philadelphia architect – called her grandmother in Seattle for the first time… just to talk. Her grandmother started telling her stories from her life, and the two women haven’t stopped talking since. Benita began writing a book about these conversations, not only to understand her grandmother’s stories but also to share her own reflections.

Inspired by the friendship between a grandmother and a granddaughter, The Best Day of My Life (So Far) connects seniors with younger generations through multi-media storytelling, with an emphasis on digital technology. Programs include seniors’ writing classes, teen internships, leadership training workshops, citywide public events, video documentaries and a blog with an international following. Check out the project website and view a short video at www.thebestdayofmylifesofar.com Stay connected via Facebook/ Twitter to read seniors’ stories, see class photos, and stay updated on upcoming events. Tax-exempt donations to The Best Day of My Life So Far Fund are accepted online and by check via The Philadelphia Foundation www.philafound.org

Susan Baida and John Mills invite their listeners to visit their website, http://www.eCareDiary.com/ - a central, no-cost portal for all things aging. Visit the blog, products page, legal docs, etc. at the eCareDiary website http://www.eCareDiary.com/
