Connecting with Seniors with Alzheimer's Through Art

Tuesday, November 1 at 2 PM EST - eCareDiary's Director of Events, Polly Whitehorn speaks to Andrea Kay, award-winning artist, writer and creator of Flutterby, a performance piece and art that helps families and caregivers of Alzheimer's patients connect with their loved ones in a meaningful way.

This program, which has been presented at professional meetings and in theatres, includes a dramatic performance and an art exhibit that Andrea created after her father died of complications from Alzheimer’s. It is based on the drawings she did of her father as she sat across from him in his lift chair the last year of his life.
