Everything you do is a prayer. Every thought, every word, every action. Given that, whatever you've got going on in your life is what you've been praying for - sometimes consciously, but often unconsciously. If you wnat something different in your lifee, you must pray a different prayer. This is not formal prayer for intercession, forgiveness, or help. These prayers are the way we think, act, speak to ourselves and others.

Whatever you're thinking about (and therefore praying about) wil manifest in your life. If you worry about not having enough money or love the Univesrse will respond with a resounding YES, you don't. If you complain, I am fat or I am poor, the response, Yes, you are fat or you are poor.

If you want change, change the language of your prayers: your thoughts, words, actions.

Host Note: I read every book from cover to cover each week. It's the only way, for me, to feel confident in conversing with my guests s the discussions are not interrogations, but rather provide a flow of good, beneficial information that listeners can take away and incorporate into their lives. This book, I also read. But more importantly, I felt it. I cried through almost the entire book. I had to take out my contacts and wear glasses, which I learned, steam up. I kept reading and I kept crying. When I put the book down, I felt so different. SO DIFFERENT. It was a positive transformation I did not see coming at all. No matter your belief sytem, no matter how you view what praying is or what prayers are, I truly believe if  you read this book with mindfulness and a willilngness to open your heart, you too, will be changed for the better. For me, it was immediate. I hope you find that as well.
