Part 1:  LIVING OR EXISTING?
Some years ago the Lord informed me that there is a difference between living and existing. I had no idea, I thought that was the way thing were suppose to be. But then I read Philippians 1:20-22
To Live is Christ
20I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have complete boldness, so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. So what shall I choose? Sometime we think we are the only one going through a particular situation only to fine  other are going through the same. As I was exploring the topic I found that Steve Bloom had the same thought, a difference between living and existing. When everything is decided for you and you have no choices in what you do, what you wear or say. Some days can feel like that , but if too many you maybe aimlessly drifting through life.  I was there, that was me. Many years I live there. The biggest distinction between living and existing comes from how much control you have over life decisions. I am a Intern Chaplain at the State School and one of the request of the mentally ill  is pray that I get out of here. They are not free to make their own decisions. We take it for granted things being as well as they are. I know it can become easy to get stuck doing something because it is comfortable and has become habitual. I’ve been there. We will continue with part 2, next week.
PRAYER: Lord help us to come to live in you, In Jesus name, Amen
