Our guest for this show is Academy Award nominated writer/director Douglas McGrath. He chats about directing BECOMING MIKE NICHOLS an HBO Documentary that features an intimate portrait of the director, producer and improvisational comedy icon in a set of final, and thus, historic interviews filmed just four months before his death. Director Douglas McGrath (HBO’s “His Way”) documents Nichols’ early life, as Nichols opens up to his friend and fellow director Jack O’Brien about the storied beginnings of his career, his landmark comedy work with Elaine May, his direction of two Neil Simon classics (“Barefoot in the Park” and “The Odd Couple”), and the breathtaking one-two punch of his first two films, “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” and “The Graduate.”  The HBO documentary airs February 22, 2016 (check your local listings)
