Anthony DiMaria,chats about his debut film JAY SEBRING….CUTTING TO THE TRUTH on streaming platforms on September 22 including AppleTV and Amazon. This film is a fascinating, in-depth look at the life and legacy of the nineteen sixties Hollywood trendsetter and celebrity hairstylist Jay Sebring, who is also the uncle of the filmmaker.  

The film follows Sebring’s career as a cultural icon and his untimely murder at the hands of the notorious Charles Manson family. Jay was also the fiancée of actress Sharon Tate, who also was killed by the Manson family as well.

 The film is a portrait of sort, into Mr. Sebring’s life as a successful businessman entrepreneur, who created a billion-dollar Men’s hair & fashion industry and defined the iconic Hollywood styles for A-list celebrities. Who were some of his clients?  Frank Sinatra and the rest of The Rat Pack, Elvis,  Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, Marlon Brando, The Sam Cooke, Bobby Darin, and many others… Just a who’s who list of superstar entertainment legends who were his clients from that era.  

The film also features interviews with Quentin Tarantino, Quincy Jones,  Dennis Hopper, Nancy Sinatra,  Robert Wagner, Paul Anka, Andy Williams, and Vidal Sassoon.
