After 10 years of auditioning for NBC's "The Voice," Kara McKee has finally landed a spot with Team John Legend! Kara’s professional background was in corporate America, but her heart has always been in music.  After 15 years of pursuing a business career, Kara left her big corporate job to prioritize the things that make her happiest--MUSIC!  Kara comes from a family of achievers. Her father, Governor Daniel McKee, is the current Governor of Rhode Island, and her 94-year-old grandmother is a wonderful piano player. Kara has also been asked to sing for some pretty impressive people over the years, including former First Lady Michelle Obama in 2008. Watch Kara in action on October 10th of The Voice on NBC.
