It's five, career-driven childhood friends – who happen to be the offspring of Gospel music legends who are blazing their ownt trails for success in the Detroit gospel scene and beyond. Each young adult is trying to carve their own path by stepping outside of the shadows of their legendary parents. This close-knit crew grapples with their strict upbringing and high standards, as they push towards being the new generation of Gospel. Show cast members Breeann “Bree” Hammond (daughter of Gospel great & Grammy winner, Fred Hammond) and J. Brooks (son of Bishop Michael Brooks, a founding member of the popular group Commissioned, chat about being a part of the new docuseries show..
