Special Guest Helen Rael Giddens

This week, we will start observing National Hispanic Heritage Month - Sept 15th - Oct 15th, celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.  Our guest tonight, is very special to me and I have asked her to come on this evening to truly explain what 'Growing Up Americano' truly means.

Americano = In Spanish, this means a citizen of Western Hemisphere country (from Canada to Argentina), a citizen of the USA is called norteameriaco or estadounmense.
