For many years, Million Kids has been combating child exploitation including sex trafficking, sextortion, social media exploitation, and child ography.  In the course of that work, we have met an exceptional private investigator that is passionate about helping parents and young people that may be at risk. For many parents, a private investigator is a critical resource to gain insight into a situation they are concerned about.  

Lyn shares with our audience her experience working with families of young people who are being exploited online, some are being blackmailed and some of the young people meet up with strangers and disappear.  Lyn shares about indicators for parents that the young person is into risky behaviors or who have had a significant personality change. 

We talk about cases involving divorce where children are at risk, or when a family member suspects that someone is involved in child ography or is soliciting minors online. Every case is different.  Sometimes it is trying to locate an adult (child) that is missing or suspected to be a victim of sex trafficking.  Sometimes it is assisting a parent that has a child that may have sent an illicit photo and is being blackmailed but the parent does not understand how to search social media.  

Lyn also works to educate and train parents and young people about how to stay safe online.
