About today's guest:

Today I talk with Houston Icon Scott Arthur, Director of Public Relations at the Star of Hope Mission. We'll discuss his life, work and mission to make a difference in the lives of his Houston community. Star of Hope is a Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women, and their children. Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, life management and recovery from substance abuse.

Scott Arthur also has decades of radio and TV experience in the Bayou City, including an 18 year run as the morning Radio Personality on KQUE, Host of the TV 26 All Night Movies, Radio News Anchor, local PBS shows and a number of national infomercials. He was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2009.
