Erin Hanahoe has trained whales, dolphins and dogs in the wild and in captivity. Currently heading a company offering individualized training for dogs, Erin is the dog whisperer you haven’t yet met! She’s offered to come and talk with me about the many things we don’t know about dogs and dog behavior that can leave us and our children at risk for attack. I’ve been saddened by the stories of children who are viciously attacked by dogs, leaving them maimed for life. Most of it can be avoided—if only we understand what sets them off and take the simple steps to notice, and keep kids out of harm’s way. This is a VERY important topic that I don’t want you to miss! PLEASE call in and talk with me and Erin as we learn about the specific movements that excited dogs into a frenzy, cues dogs pick up with their eyes, and other subtle things which, when we know about them, will allow us and our children to safely co-exist with the dogs we love.
