founding fathers of Africana Studies, as well as one of the founding members of the "Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations". For at least three decades, Dr. Ben sponsored tours of Egypt, the Sudan, and Ethiopia - bringing thousands of Blacks in America face to face with their Ancient history and the reality that these were AFRICAN Nations. In all, Dr. Ben wrote some 49 books, papers, and academic works that have been and will continue to be studied all over the world.
