Our special guest is Stephen Spurgeon MD from Oregon Health Science University’s Knight Cancer Institute in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Spurgeon received his M.D. from Jefferson Medical College at Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He continued his training in internal medicine at OHSU, where he also served as Chief Resident. Subsequently he completed his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at OHSU faculty at the Center for Hematologic Malignancies in July of 2009 as an Assistant Professor.
