We began this film review series discussing "disaster/doomsday" movies in light of the COVID-19 issues. Smaller gatherings, then closing bars/restaurants except for to-go/drive-thru, then only "essential" businesses as the whole thing has evolved.

Next, we went to movies with political themes, whether overt or subtle. We spent last week on sports-themed movies. This week? It all culminates in the basic theme of the show, i.e., "PoliSports". This week Mike, Tom, and I will discuss/review/critique/love on movies that have a political AND sports theme, or elements thereof.

While the typical entries--think "Ali" , "Chariots of Fire", and "Hoop Dreams"--will probably "make the cut", I think a couple entries may surprise. Or, better yet, they may just give you some new material to view while we try and get back to "normal", whatever THAT is!

Of course, any "juicy" news of the day will be discussed, along with the lates COVID-19 numbers/hysteria. So, please join us, and maybe even call in to tell us how right we are!
