Yes, COVID-19 still dominates the news, both in politics and in sports. Whether it's politicization by some, scare tactics by the media and others, or calls to re-open or not re-open. It's still at the forefront.

But there are glimmers of hope and normalcy out there!. Horse racing has been ongoing, though the Triple Crown is delayed. UCF is coming back this weekend, and NASCAR comes back a week later. And we may yet see golf before June.

There is other sports news, as well, and statistics that will make a Hawkeye fan smile. And today is also Iowa Day on Big Ten network!

And what would Hank Jones PoliSports be without a good rant from your host? Count on at least one quality rant!
