College Football With Hank Jones & Avid Mike

The Hawkeyes lost a quasi-bloodbath to Ohio $tate yesterday in a game where they looked competitive through the first half. However, it wasn't really that close, in spite of a mised FG, an aborted-though-successful fake punt to convert on a 4th down, two takeaways, and a couple nice pass connections from Cade McNamara & the WRs/TEs.

We can discuss how it got away from us. We can lament talent drop-off between the blueblood programs and the next level. Hell, we can even talk about the number of ranked teams that lost yesterday, although almost all those upsets were scored by home teams.

Avid Mike and I will discuss some of the games, go a little in-depth on the Hawkeyes, and mull over what we see for the Hawkeyes next week. It comes down to one thing, though, that the CBS broadcast crew mentioned at the outset. So, I will be getting into that, as well.
