Let's Do It Again! Open Streets Macon 2017 - Rachel Hollar, Executive Director

Rachel is a native of Evans, GA and a Mercer University graduate, with a BA in Social Entrepreneurship, Psychology, and Spanish. After graduation, she served one year as an English instructor in Thailand through Teach Thailand Corps, an opportunity that continues to fuel her interest in experiencing new cultures and meeting new people.

Rachel is a 2015 K880 Emerging City Champion and the founder and executive director of Bike Walk Macon, Macon-Bibb County’s first grassroots active transportation organization. She serves on the Main Street Macon Board of Directors and the Macon Area Transportation Study Citizens Advisory Committee. Rachel lives in Downtown Macon and loves that work, friends, and fun are all within walking and biking distance.
