Today, the chat is about music, Make Music Day Worldwide Celebration on June 21.  This year, Make Music Day in Macon gives tribute to the Legendary Tina Turner.

And today, I have Attorney Roy Miller as co-host.  He is a distinguished attorney in Macon as well as a very talented artist who has new work in the making.

You will get the scoop and how you can join the celebration.

Great news, Make Music Macon receives first-time ever funding from the Atlanta Federation of Musicians/MMD & MMA through the Music Performance Trust Fund (MPTF) to help support Make Music Day events at the Douglass Theatre and The Tubman Museum on June 21 in downtown Macon.

- Dillard's Department store will be participating in-store with artist KoleG8, jazzing it up at 1p - 4p at The Shoppes at River Crossing on Riverside Drive in Macon.

- Macon Peachy Beachy Downtown Boogie @ 12N - 2p

- The Tubman Museum - Tina Turner Tribute, Drum Roll and Music Making @ 3:30p - 5:00p

- The Douglass Theatre - Tina Turner Tribute and 'Open Mic" @ 6:30p - 8:00p.

Make Music Day is about inclusion, not exclusion.   It's Free and opened to the public. 

Launched in 1982 in France as the Fete de la Musique and celebrated on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries around the world.
