Speaker Bio: Ohood Alharbi MScFN, PhD

Ohood Alharbi is a nutrigenomics expert and the owner of Personalize My Diet, an online nutrition clinic focused on nutrition consultations tailored to each person’s DNA. Dr. Alharbi completed her PhD in 2018 in Nutrigenomics from the University of Toronto. She was awarded her Master’s in Food and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Western Ontario, and completed her undergraduate degree in Medical Technology with specialization in Microbiology and Molecular biology from King Abdul-Aziz University. Dr. Alharbi is an advocate for disease prevention through healthy lifestyle, and she has been an active public speaker for over 10 years. Her business, Personalize My Diet, was featured in StartUpHere Toronto. Dr. Alharbi strive to disseminating evidence-based nutrition information through speaking, writing, and as a reviewer for multiple scientific journals including PEN: Practice-based Evidence in Nutrition; a reference platform for registered dietitians in Canada.
