How do we convince someone that they are wrong and we are right?

Many of us have strong opinions on many matters and we absolutely know that we are correct.  As a matter of fact, we are so convinced that we are right that we will not listen to an opposing view. Ok, sometimes we pretend to listen but we are biting our tongues as we wait to jump in and correct the other person. Jeepers.
