"Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted." In this, the second Beatitude, we discover that if we mourn we are blessed?!?!?
It's not, obviously, that we should seek to mourn, not at all, but, rather, that we know we will be comforted if we are grieving.
Think about it, in our most challenging emotional states, or when we are shocked or suddenly we nearly fall down - anything along those lines, we cry out! Frequently, we might curse but, I guarantee that we will, under many of those circumstance call out, "Oh, Lord!" or "Oh, God!" Why is that? Well, because our authentic self knows that God, Spirit, Universe is there to help and support, that's why!
None-the-less, "blessed" when we mourn, how is that true?
